That should read DSC SYSTEM FAULT?
Hello everyone i bought an 02 x type jag yesterday 🐄, 1st one i have ever had! On the display I've got DISC SYSTEM FUALT COMING UP? I've no idea what this is or what causes it? Is it safe to still drive with this fault showing, also showing abs light on? Would be grateful for any advice?
Hello Peter, and welcome to the forum.
You would do well to familiarise yourself on how the forum works and the different model sections, etc. You will get more response to your question if it was posted in the appropriate section for the year and model of your car:
However, you will have to get a code reader connected up and find out what fault codes have been generated. Then we can offer advice on the specific faults. On larger Jags this sort of fault warning is often ted by a battery that is not at full voltage. Has the car not been run for a while? If so, make sure the battery is fully charged (and that it's a good battery!), and see if the warning persists.

Hi Peter, This could also be down to an ABS sensor problem. As suggested a code reader similar to the JLR/SDD would be useful.
