    Tonneau cover

Hi, I've been cleaning out my late Father-in_laws garage and found a bag containing the tonneau cover for his XK8 (which has already gone). It's in good condition, I don't recall him ever using it. Is it worth anything. Thanks

Anything for the XK8 or the R is worth money now....the "future classic" is quickly becoming "classic" now !!

Take a look on Ebay and the other sites. £300 +

Sell it and have a meal or two on your father in Law. If you dont want the hassle of Ebay there are quite a few Jag sites you can sell it on.

Ebay have them second hand for anything up to £800. I think I will by myself a rusty XK8 convertible and make my money back on the wheels and the tonneau cover alone.

There is also a German seller selling brand new non-OEM ones for £210.

If it was me I would buy a new one rather than paying more for a second hand version. The only way to find out what it is really worth is put it on ebay as an auction.

Its a great excuse "I'm just buying it for the gearbox".
