2001 Daimler V8 LWB for Sale on ebay

Saw this which piqued my interest. Do not know if anyone else has also but wonder whether it was likely to be a simple fix of a case of staying very clear.

From the pictures, it looks it decent condition so I thought to see if anyone had any ideas.

its been a long time since its last mot, bit of a gamble, do you have a budget? if push comes to shove you could always bung out for a rac or aa mechanic to go and inspect it?
also how does he know its going to be a project if its only been sat there?

Had this im my watched items too.

Value wise if you were to part it out it would easily make your money back. It looks nice and straight love the chrome mirror caps and door rubbing strips and not to mention the picnic tables. It also has the lambs wool carpets, Yes it would be a gamble but what a car ??
Engine bay wise it looks very honest in my opinion what you would need is a new battery. And a code reader and turn the key it may just need a coil or two and perhaps a oxygen sensor or two ?? New fuel pump maybe the main culprit ?? New plugs fresh oil and filter £££ give it upto £500 in parts to get it running and you have a nice investment as they sell for £4000 to £8000 I know if I had the money id be very interested.

Checked on gov mot check and passed the mot in 2015 with two advisories front tyres one previous was for parking break and the one from 2011 -2012 had loads of advisories. From corrosion to subframe wheel bearings ect. But they must have been done as the only avdisories were for two front tyres. And it has only done 5000 mile since 2014 ???

Anyone who did want it would need to have a good look over and under the Daimler !!!!

That's just dust. Surprising that the vendor hasn't gone around with a spray and a microfibre cloth, though.

The hope would be the non starting is a simple fix but that is by no means not be certain. The fact that it is a dealer sale implies that the problem is not that easy as it should be assumed the dealer would have had it looked at.
Of course perhaps an expert here could isolate and effect a repair. Sadly, that would not be me.
