If it’s the same as mine then after stopping the engine wait 5 minutes then cycle through the menu from the button on the light stalk until you get to the oil level indicator.

I do not offer advice, I only say what I would do with the set of circumstances presented. Your choice always.

The Owners Handbook says to warm the engine, turn it off, then let it sit for 10 minutes (not 5) to let the warm oil completely drain into the sump, and then the electronic oil level read-out will work. And the car must be parked dead level otherwise you may get an erroneous read-out.
However, on my car and as some others have experienced, you can get an instantaneous read-out simply by opening the hood/bonnet, and no need to wait 10 minutes. This may or may not work for you.

Here is a quick trick to check oil when engine is cold

    Open the bonnet
Then press start without foot on brake
scroll to check engine oil and you will get the oil level without having to get engine up to operating temp.
