    Hi Richard

Im Peter, I drive a 3L Se, Im the MD of a small to medium size security installation company in Sussex.

My previose car was an Toyota Avensis (Different League).

Ive gone through several cars over the years from RS2000 to a 1360cc mini, the Jag is definately the best so far.

    Hi All,

I'm Kevin, work in High Wycombe as a Product & Pricing Analyst (as boring as it sounds!)

As my forum name suggests I own a 2.0D SE, I also drive a Bora TDi Highline & when I have finished building it, a Tiger Supercat.

Having owned plenty of different vehicles, the Jag is by far the nicest...

I'm Phil. I'm the Finance Manager for a local charity dealing with people who have behavioural and learning problems. Totaly unlike any other place I've worked before, every day is an eye opener!!

Anyway, I have a 2.5V6 Limited Edition estate and love driving it. We chose the estate for the extra carrying capacity as we always take the car when we go on holiday and very useful it is and (just as importantly) it doesn't look like a modified saloon as so many others do.
Also have a Rover 416iXL saloon (which I've found to be a surprisingly good mile muncher with an enormous boot and an easy 45mpg on a run) and a Rover 214Si.
For a different sort of fun I've a Triumph Daytona 900.
Awaiting some TLC is a 1978 Triumph Dolomite Sprint (slowly collecting bits for it), a 1968 BSA A65 Lightning and a 1960 Ariel Golden Arrow.

    Hi,

Name is Brian. I drive a dark blue, Dove Grey int' '53 X-type. This is my third Jaguar with the first being an XJ40 and then an X-300 which was lovely to drive but completely useless at coming home under it's own power. I shoved that towards a trusting dealer and bought a Volvo. Nice but no cigar. Drove that for a year and bought the X.

I left a long held job to do a Post Grad in Journalism at Uni. At 39yo with a family and a mortgage payment equal to that of the Trade Deficit, my wife didn't see the funny side. However, the novelty of being the only student with a Jaguar does have it's appeal. Nubile young nymphets are just there for the taking.... I usually ride my Kawasaki Zx9 to school though as it's more convenient but mainly 'cos the wife won't let me have my car. She thinks I'm showing off. That's it, I'm halving her cosmetic surgery budget!

Seriously though, apart from the 'uprated Mondeo' jokes, she's a great car and if I can just stop my wife from kerbing it, then it would be even better. Other interests are guitars, model aircraft, fixed wing and helicopters. Been building a Triumph Spitfire for the last 7 years (sigh).

Married and subsequently spawned the antichrist. No plans for more since my wife currently owns my testicles.

Previous Jags - early XJ40, late X300, X-type 2.0D (bought from new) fitted with a Tunit and other goodies.
Current ride - 2009 Highline Passat with DSG.
    Rebuilt '77 Triumph Spitfire.
12 bore shotgun and an eye tic....

Hi everyone My name is Keith I am a salesmanager in Essex, I currently drive a BMW 3 series Coupe but I have on order a Jaguar 2.2D Sports premium which is due for delivery next week, still having doubts wether I should have stuck with another BMW or not, seems to be some negative reports in the press re the X type, still too late now.
