O.K. I'll start off the forums

Just about anything you need for free can be found on these sites , why buy antivirus, anti spyware etc. when you can get it all free legally

    Roy,

I use AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition for many years now

As a free Anti-Virus I highly recommend this
    Ex-Unreliable 2002 S-Type sport, 2010 AWD Ford Kuga

Me too, though I've now upgraded to the paid-for version of AVG (I needed to spend some company money before Golden Brown gets his sticky mitts on it)

    Freebies

What I would like to know is, why do people still insist on buying Norton Anti-virus and all its variations. It might work, sort of, but it adds 2 ton lead boots to your PC.
The amount of people I speak to and tell them get rid, get a freebie!
Get me a coffee and no-one gets hurt.

    Re: Freebies

Same reason people buy PCs with Windows on, I guess - they don't realise there's a better way.
