what was the first car you ever owned

well we've had your best car, we've had your worst car , so I thought why not see what your FIRST car was.

In my case it was an Austin 2200, in mint condition, not the most attractive of cars, transverse engined, leather and wood interior, wasn't the quickest car in the world but she was comfortable. and cost me a whole £200 taxed & tested, round about 1979

    she was this colour too

my cats a manual , 2.1 on a '52 plate, metallic JRG with cream leather trim, 104k on the clock and climbing
my mod's, sliding centre console armrest, mesh upper grille, painted & logo'd calipers, de-badged boot lid, wood ashtray & gear surround, wood door inserts, cream leather gear gaiter, 8 way electric front seats, modded air intake, chrome rear door treads, additional boot lighting, grey smoked repeaters, folding mirrors on double lock, DRL's

My first car, a 1958 Ford Anglia, a gift from my family which was a little crusty but it drove well with it`s 1192cc side valve engine and sold it for £85 to a policeman

1925 Austin 7 (no, I didn't get it new) a great little car, I wish I still had it but, it needed new cross ply tyres, we were only young, no money, especially for new tyres so it had to go.

Renault 4 with 6 volt electrics, and you lot think the X-Type headlamps are poor. Got me to Germany and back. Broke drive shafts, blew it up, then finally the back end collapsed (there was 6 of us in it at the time)

57 X-Type Estate 2.0D SE. Better Brakes, Moar Powah, Mesh Grillage, Quad Zorstage, Full blank and no MIL. Oh and HIDS that pass an MOT
