file upload manager won't delete files

MY file upload manager won't delete picture files, says files not utilised after an hour will be deleted. If i tick the select all button it wont work either. Any answers please.

I've uploaded too many files on a post I've just put up, and even if I go in to edit the post, I can't remove the extra photos (showing as attachments rather than embedded in the text).

How can I get rid of those please?

I believe you have to go into your attachment settings and delete them from there.

I do not offer advice, I only say what I would do with the set of circumstances presented. Your choice always.

Thanks, Jim. That sorted it a treat - I'd have never thought to go into the User settings to do that though.
