A few things that bother me about my new F-Pace
My biggest annoyance so far is the fact that the navigation system has no option for voice recognition to enter a destination. It has to be done manually on the touch screen. I have the 10.2" system. Come on Jaguar. Voice recognition has been around for many years.
Minor point. The sunvisor, when positioned on the side window, has no provision to slide on its shaft for adjustment.
Although I have a first edition, I was surprised to find it had no ventilated seats.
Minor Point. Sirius radio free trial period is only for three months. I got it free for a year on my lowly Jeep.
There seems to be limited storage area in the console area. The gear selection knob (PRNDS) takes up a large area and is surrounded by a high gloss bezel. You can't really lay much there as you need access to the knob and if you just throw your keys there they will scratch the high gloss finish.
My favorite feature of the car is the sweet exhaust note that you hear when ever you accelerate. I can't wait for the next stop light so I can hear it again.
I was concerned about noise from the 22" tires, but I should not have been.
If yo have the route planner installed on Pc / Ipad or Iphone you can search for anything from street name to hotel name or anything else
It works in a similar way to Google
Can set the destination and it loaded in the car ready to go

I considered an F-pace to replace my 435i BMW. In the end, I bought a Range Rover Sport. Not new but much better value than a new F-pace in my humble. OK, the infotainment system is ancient but all the stitching on the leather is straight , which it wasn't on the F-pace I viewed and it's just a tad roomier too. I just couldn't convince myself that the F-pace was a car belonging in that price bracket but hey ho. That's not to say it's a bad car of course. Be interesting to see what they will be going for in a year or so.

the latter more of an issue perhaps with the introduction of a Hybrid in the near future.
Something else I notice is that they can be very colour sensitive,I was behind a silver 2.0 litre Diesel and the detailing just seemed overcome
by the colours blandness,a point of view shared by my passengers also strangely enough
