F-Type at Jaguar Art of Performance

Finally had the opportunity to drive the F-Type coupe. It was a V6S.
Had it for about 20 minutes in the roads around Goodwood Estate

New the convertible as drove both the V6 and the V8 at Dunsfold but I am more a coupe person. Sadly police was around and we were in open road so speed limits had to be observed but it is a fantastic machine. Great noise, great "connection" with the car also because you sit at the "center" of it. You come out of it with a big smile. Still the doubt of the V8 remains but I am afraid that it might be too much. You can floor the V6S and enjoy it whilst the V8 is a much more aggressive beast. Maybe the AWD is easier.
Has anybody driven both the V8 RWD and V8 AWD?

The AWD in the F-PACE feels very much like a RWD

I own a V6 S, and for me, it has got plenty power - the V8, no matter how amazing that power delivery is, can never have the delicacy and finesse of the V6's steering - there is just too much weight at the front - if it was mid-engined, then it was a different story - that said, I am not against the idea of an R or SVR - it certainly has its place - for me, the V6S is just the better balanced package and every day sports car.

@james25 - the X351 would need an active exhaust to "scare" us :P
