Posting styles - just a thought
Hi all, I wanted to make this post and am trying to put this the best way I know how......stands back and awaits flak lol
This is just a personal note that I hope would be taken on board by some, all of us even, I believe it'll help, certainly at least me as I get older and squint to read
I've read some really great posts recently, some of which I've struggled to read through, mostly due to large blocks of text. I'm not going into the whole punctuation, spelling, grammar scenario, it is what it is, but.......
As I said, some great posts I've struggled to read due to large blocks of text, all run together. These posts are interesting and informative but I want to read them, continually losing my place I personally find it difficult and have on occasion given up lol
The thought it this, If they're spaced out as above, they're much more easily absorbed and more likely to be read. Perhaps this could help others to view more posts and some may be having the same difficulty I'm having?
Maybe it's just me, I'm unsure, but please believe me when I say there's no offence meant, it is only a suggestion that will either be taken up or not
Just for clarity, I've posted the same information above, below this post but in a large block so you can see what I mean
Once again thanks, you'll make a happy man very old or a variation on that
Jim

Great post Jim,
And even if some are not inclined to read it all, the written representation says it all.

I still see these large blocks to text in posts, similar to below.....

Its a shame as some of them seem to be really decent posts, but just can't be bothered trawling through to make sense of it.
It's probably just as I'm getting a little older, eyesight's going a little, or maybe just a little less tolerant
Either way I wish people would try to make things a little easier to read......Just me?

Very true Jim.
The big problem of the posts you mention is, the information given rarely can be gleaned as you’ve lost the will to carry on reading after the first few lines. Due in main to the whole thing just melting into one big block.
I find it a great shame, that people with valid points and opinions can’t take the time to properly structure what they are writing in order to convey those valid points and opinions in the first place.
