I don't know..... there you are sitting down there in one of the countries most desirable areas,a healthy pension that would take two lifetimes
to spend and a Jaguar on the driveway for good measure and still you look for sympathy

And Then There Were None......I read that book by Agatha Christie many years ago. It had a different title back then but I won't repeat it here! (You can always look it up).

No reddiesel - nearly right (and I think we're now a minority protected species !!)
Desirable area - tick.
Healthy pension - half-a-tick
Two lifetimes - tick as far as today's young people are concerned, but a quarter-tick as far as some of my contemporaries !!
Jaguar in the driveway - tick
Poorly Peugeot in driveway which is all I can afford to insure my two boys - cross.
Sympathy - never.
In case any of "The Damned" are reading this - a former boss of mine, a wise man who is still with us, once told me as I was about to go into what would be a long and very difficult negotiation with the Musicians Union ...........
1. make sure your flies are done up.
2. Don't lose your temper.
Apart from my own addition .......... 3. Drink at least one bottle of wine every day unless you are driving - I have stuck by those rules.
Works for me
David.

A lot easier to moderate, and a lot less people upset

Must just be me then?
I seem to have a lot of newbies joining up and some names I haven't seem to have see for a while coming out the shadows not a lot of the hullaboo has died down
Still seems to be plenty of socialising and chat threads and more room for the technical ones too, questions being asked and answers given
No downside here
