My daily runabout is a 2014 Vauxhall Corsa Black Edition 1.4 turbo, purchased at 14 months old and previously owned by a young lad who obviously knew nothing about caring for a car. It has had two safety recalls during my ownership, one of which has taken three subsequent recalls to fix properly (so far). I have always liked 'sporty' Vauxhalls but I think this will be my last, especially now they have been bought out by Peugeot. Having said that it will not be up for replacement any time soon as it has just passed its first M.o.T. with no advisories and has only covered 18000 miles.

Er, the XJ is the runabout! A Discovery Sport does normal small children duties and we have a Smart as we live in the city centre.

Well really, I'm a fleet manager because apart from the Jag, (X358 Sovereign), the wife has a New Beetle, then there are my two sports cars, a 1977 MG Midget 1500, and an MG TF (Chinese made in 2009). Daughter has a Fiat 500, her 2nd, having traded in her first one we bought her. The sports cars are hobby cars so don't get a lot of use.

As well as my XF S we have a bright Green 2016 Seat Leon FR for the wife. Slimer is his name and it's got a 1.4TSi 150bhp engine in it. Does 50mpg and has some proper poke, its a really good car to drive and good for getting her about in style, comfort and practicality. Costs peanuts to run too. All I have to do with it is keep it clean, which in her job as zoo keeper and doing most of the carting of little man about, its not often that clean unlike the big cat

I dribble at the mouth every time I see those bikes , sadly I know my limitations and I am much too old and my reactions much dulled
not to mention the other idiots on the road , I have a KTM MotoX and thats enough for me .
