    My Jagdeo , as bomb proof as a 2.2 X-Type if well maintained - 272,000 miles

    Cheap fuel filters are the normal root cause of injector pump and injector issues.

    2009 X358 XJ LWB 2.7 Tdvi , Liquid Silver , 100k + miles
    Bumper reflectors drilled and fitted with 3W side marker lights.
    Phillips HID lamps replaced with Osram 66140 D1S , no real noticeable difference !
    Main beam H7 lamps replaced with Nighteye 72w LED fan cooled units.
    Fog light H11 lamps replaced with Nighteye 72w LED / running as DRL / go off on dipped beam unless put back on.
    Full Alpine entertainment pack , AI-Net mod to follow shortly for MP3 / Auxiliary input.

    The petrols have a lower ratio giving more revs, so I agree, a petrol Mondeo Gearbox (if it will fit the diesel?) could be a reason for the higher revs.

    Because the final drive ratio number gives the ECM one of the axis for the look upchart presumably. Yes. I meant Lower...
