    Convertible roof

Hi Gerry, I'm not the expert you need on this but did have some roof issues myself a few months back. Sorry for asking a daft question, but had you fully released all the pressure in the system when you turned the pump screw, (if you can lift up the back of the roof and/or the storage deck then...

    Cruise Control

Definitely. Cruise control is one of the functions that disappears on my car when the battery is low.

Battery issue - could do with a second opinion

Hi, have a look at this thread I posted earlier this year - the battery has been spot on since I got the Alarm Sounder sorted. https://www.jaguarforum.com/threads/alarm-sounder-source-of-all-battery-woes.127338/

    Battery

And, if you've not already got one, invest in a CTEK MXS5 battery charger /conditioner.

Convertible roof - manually closed but not showing as latched.

😁 Don't confuse me, the stress of the roof issues has already caused me to hit the gin early :D

Convertible roof - manually closed but not showing as latched.

Quite correct, Simpo, glad to see you are paying attention;) After stowing the roof away and BEFORE starting the engine, it was just over 1 clockwise turn on the hydraulic pressure screw.

Convertible roof - manually closed but not showing as latched.

Hi again Mike. We have success! And I can finally relax. Thank you for your help. Following the advice in your thread and consulting the User Handbook, and with the engine off, I released the hydraulic pressure and, with help from Mrs. A., we folded the roof up, lifted the tonneau, then...

Convertible roof - manually closed but not showing as latched.

Thanks Mike. Looking through all of that, it seems that I have to release the hydaulic pressure, (in the boot, with an Allen key), then open the roof manually, then 'maul it' all to fully open it. Once the roof is fully stowed away, the mechanism should reset itself whilst I re-seal the...

Convertible roof - manually closed but not showing as latched.

Hi I was giving the car its annual spring clean today, and had the roof half open so I could clean and treat all the rubber seals, (engine running). Without warning, the roof started to close, with the back of the roof dropping before the rear tonneau closed. I managed to catch the tonneau and...

8am's OK with me, sorry. While I'm on a role, are you OK with Norton Canes or do you want to do Warwick for 8:45?

Monthly Jaguar Breakfast Meet at British Motor Museum

Hi I've dropped a right clanger on the suggested timings. Norton Canes is about an hour from Gaydon. Is 8:30 a bit late if you want to get there before 9:00? (I'll be honest, I suggested Norton Canes but had Warwick services in mind - I'm out of practise with this planning a trip stuff). Rob
