The less they say the better at this time John. It will stop the sabre-rattling temporarily. All they've done so far is make us a laughing stock and given the EU the false impression we're weak and done in a flurry of chaos.

It will come to the final showdown in March, then we'll get a miraculous agreement.

    .
I'll be putting 50p on an agreement 28th March 11.30pm

Our house just had an earth tremor 2-3 minutes ago!

It felt like a mild shunt from the rear in a car, when you've got the brakes on.

It was just one oscillation forward then backward, the whole house moved about 3cm. It's built on a huge concrete anti-seismic base slab and has a reinforced column skeleton so it has taken and will take a lot of quakes and tremors for a few more years.

    But it's nerve-wracking when you're inside!

    That's Breaking News for me!

    But I put it here.

Did the earth move for you?

    Bravo Theresa!

    She's spot on!:

My view is a second referendum would reinforce Brexit now that we've all seen how the "EU" turned on us and think we're going to roll over.

Brits always go the opposite direction to the one we are pushed in against our will, the Yurrupeans don't know us.

I'm not so sure. Votes made for remain probably came from those who expect to lose out from Brexit and would likely vote the same again. Those who voted for Brexit are fed up now and probably wouldn't bother voting a second time because they can't be sure if it's good or bad for themselves.

Anyhow, another referendum isn't going to happen. That seems to be a spin that unpopular politicians use in an attempt to get some air time and suck up to what they think is a public supportive of the idea, but that's just a gamble on speculation, made easier for them because career wise, they have nothing to lose by it.

    Oooh. Go me.

In 1975,when I was stationed in Cyprus,I experienced a similar event.

    The young lady that I was entertaining opened her eyes wide and commented;

'Wow,how did you manage to do that,I really felt the earth move!'

2000 S Type manual(now sold and replaced with a Transit Connect!) BMW E30 cabbie in the very rare neon green colour and a Nissan Micra for 'er indoors!

It's what Ronald Reagan used to ask Nancy every time he hit the Nuke! Button on Spitting Image.

She used to say "No, I don't think it did, Ronald!".
