Not sure but I think it means - don't celebrate a lottery win until your eggs are worth two in the bush.

    Hahaha...

    We've got a similar one haven't we...

"A song at Christmas is worth as much as a bowl of hot soup on a cold day"?

'Tis past midnight and we had lots of food and Christmas songs, a few glasses of booze, and we just had a bowl of lovely hot soup in the car from a bakery on our way home.

Hope you all had a similar lovely evening?

    Tell us about yours?

Here's one that gets you thinking.

It turns out that it may be possible to be a woman if you have a tadger.

Having a ***** and competing as a woman is not fair

Surely if a person has a one-eyed trouser trout and associated cobblers, they will produce testosterone and so be better at aggressive sports than those filled with estrogen, and have less difficulty parallel parking.

There are some very fundamental differences between the sexes, such as throwing, where estrogen can cause throwing muscles to become confused and produce awkward movements.

I think Matina has a point. How can we be sure that women with meat and two veg do not get access to the changing rooms where they could intimidate women without.

They should all play in mixed doubles and cancel male/male and female/female events worldwide then.

    That's better, right?

This stupidity is causing big rifts in all sectors of our soceity, it's gone into madness.

It takes cobblers to stand up to the madness and I'm glad she did.

Being forced to apologize to people who strive to have rules bent in order to be accepted wherever they choose against their physical build is just absurd.

It's gone too far and one day the little boy will laugh and shout out "the king is in the altogether...!" And others will shed their cowardice.

    Yep, correct, bud...

    I before E except after C.

    S O C E I T Y.

    Not S O C I E T Y.

    Right?

The spelling has been changed in the dictionaries to the US version.

There are exceptions to every rule, but the E after a C makes the C sound like an S not a K.

Conscientious and conscience are exceptions. Science is another. If we find lots more we can reverse the rule!

    I'll go find it...

Here it is, the huge list of exceptions both ways makes it nonsense, but I remember being taught Soceity:
    https://en.m.wiktionary.org/wiki/Cat...t_after_C_rule

It's never been spelled 'soceity'. Here is the etymology:

Out of interest, Oxford Dictionaries prefers "i before e except after c, when the sound is 'ee'."
