I bought a set from David Manners and they kindly matched the prices quoted to Barry Ward.

I went into Crewe Jaguar yesterday and asked what the price was for a set of tank straps. The price as stated by David Manners is the same as I was quoted at Crewe Jaguar, (£104.97 incl VAT). This does seem a really good example of "stiffing", but on the other hand the last cars left the factory in 2009, and as the stock of straps dries up eventually some more have to be made, but this time not in batches of thousands, but probably a few hundred. That is when the OEM will ask more money than before because the economies of scale have gone.

In my experience, if demand builds up, the aftermarket tend to come to the rescue with cheaper parts, and there can't surely be a simpler part to make than these ! £20 each should give enough margin for everybody, I would have thought.
