    And the wife's considered opinion?

Yes it's very nice but I still don't like the dog on the front

Is she on about the jaguar and the cub in the bottom corner of the windscreen? Nice shape the E-Pace, congrats on the new car.

No, she likes that, thinks it's cute. It's the badge on the front grille that she says is a dog. I did try to tell her it's called a Growler but she just giggled and said that was rude....

One problem with all these SUVs. Eventually they have to look similar.
My initial thought when I saw your picture? What is a picture of a Ford doing on here!!! Sorry.

I actually got to sit in one last night having just left Dunelm.

The bright blue colour with what I assume was an added black pack.

    2L diesel Sport.

Very, very nice and a stunning colour.

    Bigger than I expected.

Seems it was the older couples 1st Jaguar which they were liking very much, but they did decry the dealers after sales service.

Still waiting for their complimentary car mats 4 weeks after taking ownership, not very good is it?

Knowing of the woman on the service desk from the odd time I've been in to order parts, I do not find it surprising.

    Guard Dog springs to mind.

Well, four months down the line I'm happy to report that I/we still like it, I've seen 3 others on the road now so we are still enjoying the 'exclusivity' aspect of it but the auto stop/start is still pi... sorry, annoying me (old school motorist, technology confuses me ) and the screen washer bottle is empty. Is that a dealer job?

    Nice story.
Waiting to get out of the car park after tonight's Foo Fighters concert in Manchester, a bunch of people heading back to their cars happened to walk past us. We were sat in the car, engine on standby, windows open (not raining for a change) and all we could hear were comments like 'oooh that's the new Jag... E Pace or summat.... nice or wot?' and 'Wow, that's a bit smart innit eh?' etc... and about half a dozen people crowding around the car for a damned good nosey..... that is until they realised we were actually sat in it

It made me feel all sort of gooey and proud.
