At least everything else is top notch Jim.
Thanks Steve, not the best on the scratch, but definitely a little better for now. Yes I will ALWAYS know it's there until it's not lol

Thanks Colin, a slight improvement for now at least

    1. Love the red calipers...guy who refurbed my alloys, is keen to come back, get rid of the surface rust on the face of the hub, and then treat and paint the calipers, as well as clear lacquer Jaguar stickers if I provide them.
    2. In the picture you can see your reflection .... last time I saw a pair of legs like that, they had a tag on the toe !
Ahaa, another little bit of love for red calipers
    Mac will love you lol
I know, you're right about the full panel respray, but not yet, I'll have to live with it for a while
Tag on the toe is about right too!

    Good grief, another one!
    Yes!!

    ... but not a kilt, I'm betting!
The kilt is a fine piece of clothing, steeped in heritage lol

The weather was very kind today, sunny and warm, so I cracked on with more that was needing done.

    1. Clay barred the windscreen and windows.
    2. All door seals etc treated with Gummi Pflege
    3. Interior vacuumed and all interior trim treated with Autoglym Vinyl & Rubber
    4. Windows cleaned inside n out
    5. Wheels cleaned thoroughly all the way through, calipers and hubs cleaned too of course
    6. Wheel arches cleaned with hot soapy water and Sonax full effect, then treated with Wet n Black
    7. Tyres treated with Wet n black
8 Bags removed from boot, wood liner installed to give some rigidity, products minimised and boot vacuumed
    9. Car washed n dried

A little over 6 hours and she could still probably do with a refinishing polish with the DA but that's all she's getting for now
She'll either get hit again tomorrow or the X type will get some attention

    2 more sleeps to go!
I'll pack the Jaguarforums banner for everyone to sign ( pic opportunity too ) and bring along decals for anyone that wants them for their car window / toolbox / locker etc

Lol, the pics probably looked better than the reality. Saturday last week was just a quick wash and QD, Sunday was a lot more hours!

Interesting seeing the engine bay, as its different to mine - I guess thats the change from the 270-ish bhp to the 300-ish bhp, and gains an extra air filter.

Yeah, I noticed that. I was thinking the "add-blue" might have something to do with it.
