Is it a specific wheel, or the whole system? I found I used to get a warning about a complete system when being a bit heavy footed throwing it into corners or other lary actions. That said, its behaved itself for ages now.

I did suspect the battery at the time, but now it (and everything else) seems better, I'm not sure. Unless the battery has magically improved.

I don't know. All the warning says is "TPMS Fault". I have had it say "Tyre Pressure Low" and tell me which tyre, but the Fault warning is non-specific. If I were to guess, though, I would suspect it is something to do with the wheel that I tried to rip off of the car.

That's the complete system I believe, as I used to get. As said, could never truly narrow down if it was too much sideways action confusing it, or possibly battery glitches...

Blimey that's low mileage. Approx 3500 miles per year, you need the 5.0 litre model lol.

And with narrow red wheels, could look rather fetching, if a bit of a handful...

To revisit a bit of history (for context)

    All very clever!
This seems, in hindsight, like it may apparently be useful. My car has started exhibiting odd - intermittent and not predictable - locking behaviour. I press the button (door or fob, it doesn't matter which) and the car locks, but the mirrors don't go in. A couple of seconds later, I get two beeps. Aha - something is open, methinks. But I press unlock, and then lock again and it all works fine. Something, somewhere, is screwing with the locking logic. I have decided, in the interests of my bank balance, to nobly soldier on and ignore the issue.

Sounds like a sensor somewhere is intermittent?

Have you tried parking your car in a tree and purchasing a BMW E65?

Possibly a little drastic at the moment, but certainly something to keep in mind.

BMW E65 not suitable as red wheels are not available.
