    Wobbling serpentine belt

As above, with a very loud noise .
Sounds like a John deer tractor and I can feel the car rocking.
    What's that all about ?

Could anyone tell me what could cause this ?
The tensioner is in wobble mode, I seem to remember the crank pulley being an arse to centre properly.

If I knew how to upload the video of the junk I would...
    Any thoughts please ?

I just saw an Audi driver using his indicators correctly on the motorway. Twice. Should I report the vehicle as stolen?

Time to change fit the up rated crank pulley set. Don't see why the pulley should be difficult to fit as it's held in place by three bolts. Good idea to change the idler pulleys at the same time. If possible get the correct tool to use on the tensioner unit as it makes life a lot easier.

Pulley should not be able to move if the bolts are correctly tightened. If you have a scout around the forum you will see several suggestions about where to get the kit from. I got mine from a Jag dealer who sells on e bay, others have used sites selling transit parts. Eurocarparts sell most of the bits including idle pulleys. I suppose it depends if your happy getting parts from several suppliers or just one.

If you get the Jag kit you get a modified plastic wheel arch cover. (it has a bulge in it to accomodate the bigger pulley).
