    Hello Parrish,

my guess would be 7/16" UNF, certainly a UNF thread. What spanner size did you use, 11/16"?

    Mk2 jag brakes.....

11/32! I have ordered tap and die set and a new set of bolts. This car was "rebuilt" by a Jaguar "specialist" in the south of england, for the previous owner.
I have all the bills-he spent a fortune. The workshop was run by Roy Rogers and Trigger, the work was carried out by Baldrick. every time I think I am on top of it, something else appears...
    Thanks for the info
as you can see, it is in mid air and on its side.......

    Hello Parrish,

    not 11/32" .

You will also need a 25/64" drill for tapping 7/16" UNF.
The biggest problem is drilling centrally so it would be better if you can extract the broken bolts. Plus gas and heat do help a lot.
