It never ceased to amaze me how far a car would climb up the snow covered roads of the Alps.

All the cars I hired at Geneva had them on, probably mandatory.

Sleeper mode, mine was the same, looking like a long black limo which it still does, until I fire up the engine.

No idea why I had a rear silencer delete

I only ever use the ACC on the motorway and have only had one instance of it being inoperative in heavy wet snow.

Keep the updates on your life with a stunning car coming.

I'm surprised how much I like the 18s - they are a handsome design. I was planning no plastidiping a rougher set but I'm glad I took the lazy route and paid a bit more for a more acceptable set (just have a few nicks and small paint flakes).

Yes I have Venus 18s on mine with pirelli sotto zero for the winter. They do look good! Check in handbook for correct tyre size as I got it slightly wrong. If not sure I can find it again for you.

Just a quick mod for the darker nights. Also changed the map lights for white LEDs and will change the number plate bulbs with the spare LEDs I have. I'm not convinced I love the main light being blue, I may switch it for white - not sure yet.

I am also considering adding a valved exhaust cutout so I can switch between stock for day to day driving and louder for when the mood strikes. The quietness of the exhaust is great usually but it's not scratching my V8 itch as much as I want! I'm guessing no one on here had added a cutout?

Finally got round to getting winter tyres fitted - the tyreshop mucked me around and delayed a fair bit but I got them on just before the snow last Saturday. Ended up with Goodyear Ultragrips and they seem to work!

I now have two sets of summer tyres and a pair of alloys stored away over the winter. When you look at them stacked up like that, it's a lot!

That's a lot of £££s of rubber sitting there!

Hope the winter tyres serve you well.

I was lucky to get alloys on ebay with good premium tyres on them so once I use those up I'll be on a normal summer/winter pattern
