    I got discount and didn't even ask for it, the very nice Receptionist asked the parts manager siting it was on display.

    So well under 3 figures.

    It was like the Graff Spee making smoke at the River Plate

    Over recent weeks I'd started to notice black smoke under acceleration.

    Come last week it was embarrassing.

    I'd already tried a bottle of Wynns.

    Turns out it was something simple and cheap to fix.

    Proved the issue by gaffer taping last night, permanent fix just finished.

    So what was the issue that £27.95 and 20 minutes labour time fixed?

    A split Intercooler hose.

    Lovely cheap fix!

    I had a split intercooler on a Mercedes 5/6 years ago, and I had that same black smoke occurring.

    Unfortunately it was not such a cheap fix for me...
