    Fitting New Screenwash Jets

    How do I do this?

They are secured by a wing nut from underneath but how do I access this? Do I simply(?) remove the wire mesh from the scuttle vent or is it a partial dash out job?

    Thanks

Actually I am not convinced it is that easy. Any guidance gratefully appreciated. Specifically passenger side jet assembly.

From memory the easiest way is to remove the heater unit from under the bonnet you can then reach through the hole in the bulkhead and get to the underside of the jet on the passengers side to undo the butterfly nut. I do not think you can get to it through the scuttle vent so it is either through the heater hole or remove the dash. On the S Type it is only four 7/16 nuts and the top of the dash comes off. The glove box is then held in with two bolts which is removed and that should give you access to the underside of the jet via a hole at the back of the glovebox but either way is difficult.
