Is this forum dead, or what?

I was happy to discover a forum strictly for Series 1 XJ6s, but it appears in all of 2018, there have been 6 threads posted, including two of mine that have gone unanswered? (and two others that have gone unanswered)

    ???

It is quite obvious that the questions that you have asked have not been experienced by other members. You usually will not get a reply if no sensible solution is available.
This is, after all, just a forum where like members share their experiences in the hope that they help others. It is not a specialist technical library which has all the answers to all the questions.

I know Adrian. I apologise for my sarcasm, just some friendly banter was intended and no offence. It's a really friendly place and I'm sure if anyone can help with any questions then they will do so.

John: Now I feel silly as I just understood the joke. Maybe I didn't have enough coffee that morning. No apology necessary. Good one.

People only moan when something goes wrong, if all is hunky dory they stay quiet. That speaks volumes for how great our cars are in general.
