    door mirror

    Hi does anyone know if all the door mirrors are heated or was it a special order. How do l know if mine are, what switches it on ?

    If you have a heated rear screen then switching that on will switch the mirrors on too.

    As far as I can recall, heated mirrors were standard on all the facelift years.
    Before 93 I would need to dig up a pair to check.
    Roger is quite correct on how they are activated.

    Thanks guys, I just looked at the elec diagram for 1992 and on the convertibles it is on with the rear window but it seems that there is a switch inline (roof up down) ??
    and where would that be ?

    I think the override switch would be in the roof mechanism and would automatically be activated when the roof is in the up or down position as there is no tell tale illumination for it. So with the roof down it would stop the rear screen from heating.

    Thanks If l get the effing *&^&*&%$% thing to start again l will try the rear window heater with the roof up. Getting a bit pissed off with it not starting grrrr
