XKr sitting 30mm lower on near side

I recently bought a 2010 XKr 30000 mile car and have just noticed itís sitting around 25-30 mm lower on the near side Iíve measured from the floor to the underside of back and front wheel arches and thereís a difference of around 30mm itís 30 mm lower on the near side does anyone know what could be wrong? Any advice would be great thanks in advance rob

Broken spring or shock absorber would be my guess.

First thing to do is get underneath and have a good look, it may be obvious as to what is causing it. It’s pretty much just nuts and bolts on the back end with the spring being the dangerous bit.

I have no idea as to the price of parts but factor in about 2 hours labour at least.

Thanks Jim so am I right in thinking there’s no fancy air compressor or electrical gadgetry involved?

There is a sensor for the adaptive suspension and one on top of the strut but no air compressor. Here’s a picture to help you identify the various components.
