Very disappointed in ASDA, went to the Polish Isle and could not find any of the products mentioned.

Not used CLAY in a few years, did not (personally) find it very effective but may have been the product or the car was clean enough anyway.

Overdue my deep clean, usually only required once a year followed by a light wash and wax..

I'm not in favour of any abrading because these paints are sealed with clear lacquer, aren't they?

I use a clay mitt , much easier and quicker than a bar. Just remember to keep the area wet or lubricated with either water or a detailer spray:
    https://www.halfords.com/motoring/ca...prep-clay-mitt
Followed by a coat of Auto Finesse Tripple : https://www.halfords.com/motoring/ca...e-polish-500ml
Then a coat of your prefered wax , I use AG Hi Def Wax : https://www.halfords.com/motoring/ca...nition-wax-kit

It might be now but I paid under £25 on a deal. Good product, lasts and keeps the rain beading for months.
