It may well be that he drives a McLaren 720S of a LaFerrari, in which case he won't see what we're on about!

Comparisons are very subjective, I guess.

Quite. His opening contribution to the thread, was:

"The XKR is not the greatest car in the world."

Something that wasn't claimed, anywhere, by anyone. We do, however, enjoy driving them.

Ideally I'd have an XJR15, or XJ220, but sadly, they're a little out of my price range. :P

He wants to engage and speak his mind. Lets give him the attention he craves.

What I want to know is what car he drives. Still waiting impatiently for his answer.
Could be he drives a Tesla and does not find the comparison fair, in which case I'd expect him to get straight to the point.

Its all fun and games for some.

Quick scan through some of their other threads reveals a 2011 XKR.

I loved taking my XK along twisty country lanes, shove the J-gate into S, select the paddles and keep the revs up between 3-5k rpm, clear out the cobwebs. Wasn’t exactly slow in that respect.

I love opening mine up on the A7, and on country roads. The route to my mother's place can be a lot of fun when there are no other cars around.

Nah. Mass-produced rubbish. Now THIS is my idea of pretty-much the ultimate Jaguar (and a genuinely unique motorcar):

    (/wind-up / fantasy mode)
    Jaguar 2007 4.2 litre XK (X150) convertible
    Maxzda 2007 MX-5 2.0 litre (non - 'Sport') roadster-coupe
    Skoda 2007 Octavia 2.0TDI 4WD (not a Scout) estate
Reliant 1975 Scimitar GTE SE5a (off the road after 243,000 from new)

A damn shame it was never put into production. A thing of beauty.
