Getting my first XJ tomorrow!
Joined forum after a couple of years on Fpace forums. Swapping my 2 yr old Portfolio Fpace for 2 yr old XJ Portfolio.
Best bit, 2.0 diesel to 3.0 sc petrol! I may visit fuel pumps more often but what the heck? Life is too short!
Will post pictures when I can. The car has 1,000 miles only and was a factory owned car with what seems like every option possible! Yukon white with piano black and ebony jet interior. Meridian reference audio, rear entertainment system plus all the technology to fly to the moon! The £40k depreciation makes the car virtually half price and basically like new!
I hope to enjoy the car for the next few years but also hope as a more mature product, it is not as glitchy as the Fpace, some of which had a lot of problems, mine was pretty good but not really good enough for a £50k car.

Hi RaVolvoR,
Welcome to the website and forum.
Everyone here is friendly and helpful.
.
I have owned my immaculate current 2004 XJ-V8 since December 2016 and it's a brilliant car.
My previously owned Jaguars are a 1996 3.2ltr XJ6 Sovereign and 2 x 2001 S types.
.
Supertrev.
Truly immaculate 2004 XJ 350 - V8 in Jaguar Racing Green which sparkles in the strong sunshine.

Welcome to the only Jag Forum you'll ever need
So today is the day you get the XJ, you might even be there now.
As others will ask, pictures, pictures and more pictures please.
Some even suggest they are mandatory, seems a tad harsh to me, but...........
No pictures and it didn't happen
Enjoy the Waft that only an XJ can deliver.

Well, here it is, as you can see the drive is quite steep, before buying I had to make sure it would go up without removing the front spoiler/valance... it does but only at an angle! Already grinning with the performance... so much more than the previous FPace!

Lovely Jubbly and they do look the dogs bollocks in white.
As for steep drives,
I too have one that my brother from another, Jim, complains about.
He'll be along at some point to compliment you on your X351, ask you keep a supply of oxygen in case he visits and generally welcome you to the fold.
Rich
PS
Keep the pics coming and watch out for meets next year

Love it, love it, love it...very nice
Here's her sister in black....

I think you made a very good call there, she's a real beauty and one I'm sure you'll enjoy for a while.
Welcome to the club....
Your driveway has an angle to it, but not as steep as some I've seen or had to climb in the past
Share some more pics when you can
Best
Jim
