Update time... Woop woop sound of da police

Got egr deleted dpf deleted and remapped all lights gone car running beautifully gears changing as normal there is a little bit of smoke back to where we originally started that's not building up and plumes any more... Very faint so all is good again... Cost me 150 guy was very knowledgeable and scanned everything as well as live readings injectors on live reading were all 1.1 and 1.2k apart from injector 5 reading 900 and injector 4 reading 600...he suggested to get those 2 changed...

One thing I did notice was that after changing the map sensor and the coolant temp sensor before doing anything the car starts up much quicker now compared to before...

One issue I do have and he noticed too was smoke coming from the engine bay underneath the egr valve on the right hand side aka passenger side....

Andy the link you posted above there was a link for a turbo pipe. Leaking this one

    https://www.jaguarforum.com/showthread.php?t=80139

In his post he posts a pic where smoke is coming from mine seems to be there too and by the sounds of it it's just the pipe not a major costly job..

Glad all this got sorted and thanks so much for the advice to everyone... IanHayter I will be dropping the mongoose cable and laptop down In Coming day or 2 as currently in East London..

    Regards
    AF

    Good morning gentlemen

So going back to injectors with the following readings

    Injector 1 = 1.4k
    Injector 2 = 1.33k
    Injector 3 = 1.16k
    Injector 4 = 606
    Injector 5 = 1.02k
    Injector 6 = 1.4k

Do i change the high reading ones or low reading one? I'm picking one up today and will drop it into the 600 one and see if the remaining stabilise if not will put original back in and drop new one into one of the high reading ones and see if the remaining stabilise? I guess that's the next best course of action unless someone can state otherwise?

    Regards

    Don’t know about the hose.

Don’t fully under injector offsets but your plan sounds a good one and see.

    Morning gents

To my understanding is this the correct injector numbering

Front being looking at the engine from the front with the left bank D being drivers side and right P being passenger side withe red numbering indicating injector number?

    Update time

    So these were my readings

    Injector 1 = 1.4k
    Injector 2 = 1.33k
    Injector 3 = 1.16k
    Injector 4 = 606
    Injector 5 = 1.02k
    Injector 6 = 1.4k

After replacing injector 4 the low reading one. The readings are as follows as the car warms up on idle

    Injector 1 = 1.23k
    Injector 2 = 944
    Injector 3 = 1.06k
    Injector 4 = 835
    Injector 5 = 1.07k
    Injector 6 = 1.25k

The car has been idle for about 10 mins now and was expecting alot of smoke on revving BUT there was very little...

Still waiting for it to warm up properly and will give another reading shortly... But looking good.

    Regards
    AF

    Hopefully final update

Car at temp and readings are as follows

    Injector 1 = 1.05k
    Injector 2 = 950
    Injector 3 = 990
    Injector 4 = 740
    Injector 5 = 960
    Injector 6 = 1.25k

And smoking is gone completely absolutely zilch... No smoking at idle... And on top that the remap has bought the car to something else... The car just wants to go gears are super smooth and drop on the dot no more sluggishness... It's like a brand new car...

All in all a super result and pleased with the outcome... Hopefully all this will help many people... Big big thank you for everyone who helped out.

    Kind regards
    AF

    Glad it's good news AF.

    I'm a bit puzzled too.

The first figures you gave just after the injector replacement suggests you changed injector #2 instead of #4.

Then I wonder why did the others change so much?

Here's the cylinder numbering diagram I'm familiar with: http://www.jaguarforum.com/showthread.php?t=102059

    Nayways, very good news.

Are there any other problems to fix?

PS - Did your mobile mechie show you how to delete the EGR and DPF?

Is it something you can do too if you need to reload the software again?
