You can't really tell from those images, but I've added splash guards now.

Very good parallel parking - I pretty much always end up at about 45 degrees!

Thanks, Chris. It's a very narrow street, so even normal-width cars risk losing bodywork when the buses come through. It means I am going to have to learn not to be precious about the alloys - they are going to get chewed up!

Hi there, good parallel parking as Chris says, similar to the way I park just a lot closer.

I appreciate a narrow street but yes, you're going to be refurbing alloys sooner rather than later I'd guess.

The splash guards are difficult to see but now you mention it, of course they are there. I had them fitted myself, really makes sense if you want to protect the lower sills and the rear haunches of the car from stone pitting etc. They also come up nice with a little tyre shine when the car is washed and are a nice tight fit to the bodywork.

Are the exhausts a little sooty or my imagination? If they are and like that when bought some 0000 wire wool and some Autosol will bring them back like new and compliment your chrome bumper strip showing off that rear to its best.

That street looks similar to one in Upper Church Village near Pontypridd, I have an ex work colleague and good friend who used to stay there.
    Cheers

Nice clean shining car Mr Teacake sir.

The alloys look lovely, I often think the wheels look a bit small on X351's - but not on yours sir!

Shame they will be mashed by the kerbs soon.....

    You disliked my post Steve!

I know I'm a scoundrel, but I didn't expect any of you had picked up on it?

Phew... I thought you'd sussed me out!

I did that to Jim C the other week. The Scottish Laird sent out his best Knights and Assassins to look for me, and only called them off when I apologised and confessed it was an accident... I suspect they might be the ones who put that tree in my path at the end of November...

I think it would be handy if you could 'undo' a dislike.

Yes I agree Chris, it would also be good if the dislike icon was moved to the right hand side well out of the way of fat fingers.
