    Twostrokekid...

I think great info like this one which is hard to find and from a pioneer member, should be put in our S Type Stickies subforum please, because these threads bubble down into our forum catacombes and are then very hard to find.

Anyone can start a new Sticky thread here chaps, but please keep it clean for clear info, don't turn the new Sticky thread into a chat, or dispute, or we will lose the privilege.

Here's the link to our S Type Stickies subforum bud, just click "New Thread":

    Thanks!

Crikey bud, I had no idea I'd spouted so much good info, is that a record?

    Thank you!

Amazing, and I don't know what to say!

But I'm sure I'll write lots more!

    All the best for 2019.

I had one of mine go, drivers side, not too bad to change, but a bit fiddly, Dropped steering rack down, removed cat, removed starter motor, heat shield, then removed turbo to change actuator, got the turbo oil feed and one of the bolts from the top & the rest from underneath. To test these actuator solenoids, if you plug them in, turn on ignition you should see them moving, same when you switch ignition off, a good idea to test before putting it all back together, especially if like me your fitting a second hand unit.
