I agree, trading in would be a bad idea at this price point, worth the extra hastle of selling privately. That said, my own sales have been easy & painless- apart from the 650.

Congrats on the sale - always interesting to see your updates.

I think you did quite well out of me Simon, your sense of humour probably helped, as you are incredibly likable. I remember you did make a cheeky offer (as any savvy buyer does), and my face probably dropped a bit, and I was probably thinking what to say... so you said to me "Go on Chris, no-one wants it, I'll give it a good home", and I remember that made me smile. I was balancing a lot of plates back then, as there were some issues at work, and I was trying to buy a house I couldn't afford, so my sense of humour was probably at a low point back then, but meeting someone like you made it much more pleasurable.

Thanks for the generous words, Chris.
It certainly all worked out well, hasn't it?!

That's the sale all done. The car was collected last night, and it's all paid up. Nice to have extra space on the drive!

Well done, Chris. Might have been tempted myself if I weren't committed to the "Super" and already using a different floozy for menial work.
I fear next vehicle purchase in the Super350 household might be a "teenage-insurance friendly pedal car"....

Well done on selling the BMW as well as the heated/cooled seats and self closing boot did yours have the optional indicators as well? lol!

Selling cars privately can be a PITA and seems to attract all kinds on time wasters. I am old enough to remember the time before we all had mobiles (I must be old!) and you only had a landline as your contact number. Meant you had to stay in in case the phone rang - used to drive me mad so at least you aren't stuck in waiting for calls these days.
