Aw my chest hurts... my poor little heart is soaked in blood...

Seriously though it's a combination of both. The lights are cloudy as can be AND they are also covered in road grime...

Just another thing that needs attention, but slow and steady as they say...

Slow and steady with the cloudy lenses ain't gonna cut it with the Jimmies I'm afraid Chris, sorry.

'Appen you need to sack anything and everything you were going to do today and rectify this situation.

Jaguar standards are the pinnacle and we would not expect or believe it possible to achieve the same in a BMW.

    However,

As this is a Jaguar Forum and you own a Jaguar, you must maintain the standards that can be achieved.

Up and at it my lad, sunrise is but 45 minutes away, probably less as you're SE of me

At Christmas we were talking on here about what a great forum this is, and what a great job Ian does. It really came home to me tonight.

I found a BMW forum, and posted this thread on there too. I started with an introduction to how I came to own the BMW. I've just added these pictures and found that someone called 'Paper' has removed my first post. I can't even begin to understand why, perhaps he thought it was too long?

It's that sort of over nannying that ruins forums. Thank goodness it doesn't happen here!

....and this is what I went to the post office to collect:

I knew the old wipers were unusable after I put them on one day and regretted it, but I had no idea they were this bad!

How on earth do people let them get this bad? What do they do when it rains??!

Then I decided to see if I could get the cigar lighter sockets all working. First port of call checking the fuses:

Lucky me that's exactly what the problem was. One 10A fuse replaced and now they are working. Excellent!

Some strange piggy back fuse thingy in there. Think that might be for the Parrot Bluetooth thing someone has installed. I'll be ripping that out when I get the chance. I find them things ever so naff - I like things to look OEM.

I've sent the moderator a PM. It is absolutely puzzling me why my posts were removed. I'm guessing he just has too much free time on his hands.

The only two things I can think of would be that my post was too long, or he didn't like me posting a couple of pictures of Jags? I'm puzzled....

When I look again it says he's edited every single one of my posts. Weird...

The BMW forum would probably require your headlights to be ultra clean so they produce maximum brightness for flashing other road users out of the way!!!

Hey Chris, sounds like an over active moderator or that site has some strange rules / ideas, could be either...

Looks like you made at least a little headway, good find on the fuse, nice easy fix and what about those wipers??

As you say, Who in their right mind lets them get to that stage??!!
