    Tyre sizes

Evening all (for those of a certain age that will remind you of Dixon of Dock Green)

Just a quick question, being a new Jaguar convert can anyone advise me what rear tyre size should be fitted to my 2012 XKR convertible?
Mine has 295/30 R20 tyres (one is a Michelin Pilot sport, the other is a Pirelli P Zero!) and I want to fit a full set of Goodyear Eagle F1 Asym 3's
Goodyear don't appear to make a 295/30 in the F1 series (but they do 285/30's)
It was that or a set of Michelins, the only reason I wanted Goodyears was because I've had them in the past on other cars and they were fantastic in wet and dry conditions
Not found any mention of them in the forums so if anyone has any info or suggestions to avoid them I'd appreciate feedback before I spend out

    Cheers

    Jeff

295/30/20 is the correct size for the rear.

Some cars take a 285/30/R20 rear, it depends on what wheels you have fitted. Can you post a photo of your car which shows your wheels?

I run GY assy 3's on my XF S but have Michelin PS 4's on my STR. They're both good tyres but the PS 4's are noticeably better IMO. I would've fitted PS 4S tyres, (I've driven some cars with these fitted & they're superb) but they don't sell them in 18" (only in USA). If I had 19" or 20" wheels on the STR, I'd fit them.

Those wheels are Senta's which I have on my car. Oem rear tire on mine is 285/30-20.
There is no substitute for cubic inches!

Actually, his wheels are Kalimnos not Sentas.
