2010 Jaguar XJ X351 Starting Issue

    I have a 2010 Jaguar XJ X351 which won’t start.

I’ve literally checked every fuse but all are fine so wondered where the starter relay is located?

The battery is charged and I’ve even tried connecting jump leads just incase.

The ignition lights all come on when the start button is pressed but it just won’t crank.

It was fine when it was last switched off though.

Can anyone shed any light on this for me please?

    How old is the battery?
I would get this checked first. If the battery checks out o.k. I would then be looking at the starter motor.

Could it be the switch on the brake pedal that has failed. You could try giving the brake pedal a firmer press to see if that works. Good luck.

If you have pumped the brakes, you will have to press the brake pedal *really* hard. Try that, and also check rear brake lights come on.

Sometimes a flat battery drains the onboard computer...It can take a while for it to kick into operation again ?
