Hi there. Welcome and Wow! that's a really low miler you have found.
It could be old fuel but, I would change the fuel filter due to it's age. You could also put some fuel additive in the tank.

My 2003 XJ8 with 18,000 miles has been sitting for several months in fact I don’t know how long as I just got it. After charging the battery and driving it for about an hour it will not run..starts chugs a bit then stops..does this sound like an old fuel problem?

i also want to fix a piece of trim which is coming off the map pocket. This would be easy if I could remove the unit from the door panel...I can lift it a little but I an sure there are clips or something and I don’t want to force it...any thoughts
Maybe one of the X350 owners will have a link to the workshop manual. I'm sure they will be along soon enough.
