    4.2 vs 5.0

Things I prefer after owning a 4.2 and now the 5.0 ltr

    More power
    sport mode more sportier
    dynamic mode
    winter mode
    adjustable sensitivity of auto wipers
    keyless entry
    better sound system
    Jaguar XKR x150 Cabriolet 2010

More power - can't argue with that!
sport mode more sportier - same as above
    dynamic mode - yup
winter mode - that came in handy for me this morning
adjustable sensitivity of auto wipers - I find I just leave them in the max setting and that's *just about* OK?
keyless entry - my 4.2 had this, wasn't that standard?
better sound system - again my 4.2 had the same B&W system, but I'd swear it was louder than the one in my current car
    Current: 2009 XKR 5.0
    Previous: 2008 XKR 4.2

I take photos of cars! Find me on Facebook, Instagram and Flickr.

NO, I have to exert myself by pressing a button on the keyfob to lock & unlock my 2009 XKR.

Jon, do you have the small black buttons on the outside of the door handles?
    Jim.

I do not offer advice, I only say what I would do with the set of circumstances presented. Your choice always.

    Nope, just checked.
There's some sort of emblem on the handle but it's not a button as it doesn't press.

Very strange as I too believed the X150’s all had keyless entry.

At least we don't have to worry about the huge rise in thefts of keyless entry cars.
