    Xj8 knock sensor

    Hi all have a problem i have now picked up a nice xj8 but have warning saying restricted performance, have plugged in obd scanner and it comes back with knock sensor, well two of them
    So ive had a look and can see them but looks like they both joined in a loom that runs down back of engine
    Any ideas where this goes and where it plugs to please

    The lead from the sensor to the plug is about 12 inches long so should be fairly easy to spot.

    Yes have found them now in the bowels of the underneath of inlet manifold i was looking at two other plugs not buried so deep thanks
