Wonderful thread, exceptional projects and can never post too many pics of these masterpieces.
The 420G was one of the first cars I owned. I loved it and could afford the petrol from London to Brighton and back just once a month!
Always had black fingernails and the work on it never stopped....but those moments when all was well, stay with me to this day.
Fabulous car and deserves it's place in Jaguars history.
So happy and appreciative that you and your friends are doing so much to keep these beautiful machines alive. Respect and gratitude to you all!

Thanks Ray for the reaction, made me laughing your petrol story. I can copy that one. (passes everything exept petrol stations!)
I made up my mind and choosed the interior colours. Original, all was grey. For me very boring. We will see what will be the result with the original dark blue paint.

    Hi cmelink,
Hope the cars are coming on nicely.
I hope you don't mind me sending you a pic on your thread.
This was not my 420G but this California one is strikingly similar. This is how I remember the Mark 10 and 420G's. The two tone colour was common from new and I think was quite stunning.
I think your dark blue body and interior colour scheme will work extremely well together.
Good luck with your wonderful project.
    Ray
