    420G Dutch restoration project

Hi my name is Kees living with my wife Masha and the lovely Welsh Springer Spaniel in The Netherlands.
Bought the car in august 1983, could drive it for a year but failed the MoD (inspection). After all very glad it failed, checking the rear suspension later found out all four rubbers were broken....with 190 Km/h.
Stored the car until 2010, and start the restoring project.
Will try to post some pictures.
Any comments are very welcome, not many people wants to start such a project. Lot of them are scrapped, engines wanted for E-Types etc.
Car is original imported in The Netherlands, LHD, all numbers match, dark blue with beige interior.
Auto gearbox and engine are already overhauled.

    Pictures coming up later

So clean you could eat off of it. When the second video got to the dashboard wood my heart skipped a beat. Very excited to see the finished product.

Kees, you have the patience of Job (and, apparently, his wealth as well ).

I'm not sure I'd have the stomach for such a project, but it's absolutely inspiring to see someone take this on. I've always felt that, if something's worth doing, it's worth doing well. Godspeed!
I have God, family, friends, and my Jaguars. All I need now is more garage space.

First of all, thanks for your positive reactions.
Question, at the moment with my two friends we are busy with four 420G's. Mine as you can see, the others are, one up side down for welding, the other is up and running (small problems power steering), last one will be a surprice the only made cabrio 420G. At the moment I am busy with the electronics for the hood.
All these cars have problems with broken rings for the flasher switch, see picture.
I can not imagine we are the only one! On the internet can't find new once, but somebody must have draw these things in AutCad to print them in 3D.
    Hope you can help.
