    Boot lock/unlock

When I unlock the boot with the remote or by the button in the car unless you immediately pull the lid open it will relock itself within a second or two.(after pulling the lid open you can hear what sounds like the lock closing)when you push the lid back down the lid locks ok
If you unlock it with the key it doesn’t relock itself but will lock when you close the lid
Also the button on the boot lid will not unlock the boot
Any experts point me to what is going on please

Sounds like you have a sticky “door ajar switch”. The switch is part of the lock mechanism.

    Yeah remove the inside trim.
Apply WD40, excercise. If fixed, apply oil.

The button not working, probably a broken wire by the Right boot hinge
