    TPMS system added

Added this Tyre Pressure Monitoring System to-day. Fitted neatly into the (unused) ashtray opening. Set it up and it found my front LH. tyre was underinflated

Well done you, looks pretty neat there too.

Looks more useful that the one on my XE, I had one tyre 7 psi low and it didn't seem to care!

After I set up the system (with quaint Chinglish instructions!) I went to another tyre and deflated it a little. Sure enough the monitor responded OK.
I saw only 1PSI difference between my pressure gauge (Tire Tek) and the monitor. The gauge on my inflator (Tire Tek also) is also 1PSI adrift but we get to know our kit.

That’s odd as my front left tyre pressure warning pinged at 29Psi, I pulled over and had a nail in the tyre causing a slow puncture. I have 18” wheels and recommended is 34Psi, are yours set to light load or full load?

Majority of my motoring is done 1 or 2 up on less than perfect country roads. I don't get any untoward wear signs on my tyres. Like I said, my pressure gauge, pump, and TPMS vary slightly anyway.

When I get out on the main roads I'm usually cruising around 80KPH (50MPH). Max. speed here in Ireland is 100KPH (62MPH) except on motorways where the speed limit is 120KPH (75MPH).

We are a bit of a forgotten county up here in northern County Donegal, and there are no motorways up here. (The Donkey carts would have a Dickie fit!)
