A Happy Tuesday to everyone - yes, I know Wednesday is hump day, which means we aren't there yet.. but it is better than a Monday - honest

Ok things are still happening fast regarding our event, so it's time for a mini update for everyone

Our event, as you know exists with the ethos of supporting all Jaguars, from every walk of life and financial situation, connecting owners with the incredible support network out there, which includes this forum that you are now on reading this. Always grassroots, always doing what we can for everyone

Well, we have not only had quite a few recent registrations for our 2020 event but have also been expanding what we do.. we now have an Independent Specialist Register on our event website, running alongside our Club/Forum Register meaning you can access not just clubs and forums that Jaguar owners frequent but also suppliers of parts, services, and more. Meaning that our event now connects you to more of the Jaguar ecosystem than ever

We need your help though.. we are looking for 300 Jaguars this year, so if you haven't registered yet please do, and help us achieve our target for this year, also if you frequent a club or forum that the event website doesn't list yet, or want to recommend a company that has gone above and beyond with your Jaguar care please just drop me a line at stephen.sheldon@jaguarforumsUK.com

Ok, a little info for anyone considering registering for our event - we are not-for-profit, we work with forums, clubs, and specialists connecting you with them. We receive no financial help from them, all help they are happy to supply comes directly through to attendees not to the event. We support both the RNLI and the Rotary Club meaning that registrations for our event enable us to help them help others. We have managed seven years without any investment being grassroots, but this year have already have streamlined registration, have increased our marshaling to help on the day, have new signage, have really developed our event website for you, kicked off our now very active Facebook group, and have started a Telegram chat group with the latest advance news, info and more about the event as we go.

On the day of our Great British Day Out for Jaguar Owners we offer:

    Convoy/Drive element
Main event at Denbies Wine Estate
    Show Prices
    Talks
    Prize Draw
    Awards
Real Life fun version of our weekly Trivia Quiz
    Trade stands
    Club/Forum Stands
    Community Stands
    Club allocated areas
    Discounted lunch
Fixed price accomodation if needed for overnighters
If you are Jaguarless on the day we team you up with an attending Jaguar
You can meet Jaguars spanning over 60 years of production including some rare and unusual models

After your registration everything except food/drink is included - even the Prize draw, making us incredible value - and ALL Jaguars are equally welcome and in with a chance at things on the day.

So go on, we genuinely have a grassroots event for you that is literally a Great Day Out for Jaguar Owners - join us this year

OK, as you know our Great British Day Out for Jaguar Owners is coming up this May 24th, and there are still a number of things to get into place.. I need to get the supporting paperwork designed and printed, to finalise the registration process of arriving attendees for the Marshals, to encourage more Jaguar owners to register for what is truly our biggest event ever, to obtain tressle tables, a tent, more signage, try to budget in windscreen stickers, and then collect in all the prizes, double check awards, assemble the Welcome Packs and more..

However there is also a couple of things it would be fantastic if you could do for our event..

If you have used an Independent Jaguar Specialist for parts, servicing, repairs or upgrades that went beyond what you would expect and you are happy to recommend them please email their details to me at stephen.sheldon@jaguarforumsuk.com and I will add them into the events 'Specialist Register' and you eill be helping other Jagsters to find the best specialists out there. The more people that recommend any one company, the more stars that company gains enabling Jagsters to rate them in popularity.

If you are a member of, or run a club or forum and it is not yet listed in our 'Club/forum Register' please let me know & I will get it added.

And finally, we have a target of 300 Jaguars for this years event - this is because we are building up to a showstopper 10th anniversary event in 2021 - yep my one off six Jag meet has really been around that long!! I still can't believe it and we need to ensure we have a reasonable footfall for not just this years attending trade and club stands, but also to encourage more trade and club stands for 2021.. so please, please sign your Jaguar up for our event and help us to give you the best annual grassroots Jaguar event in the South East UK

OK guys, As of this afternoon our Jaguar event has achieved a milestone and I would like to Thank everyone involved with our event, whether you are on our event team, sponsoring, supporting or attending our event - as without you all we would not have managed this

As you know our events aim has always been to connect you with the incredible support network available to you, of which this forum is a part. Well, as of this afternoon our event has completed that aim.. we now have a club/forum register, a specialists register, a growing event calendar and can now put you in touch with everything you need to help you look after and enjoy your Jaguar. We are working with clubs, forums, and specialists right round the UK and have started to pick up links for you globally so you can connect to what and who you need wherever you are..

Thankyou for your support as our event has developed - we are now working on adding more links, expanding our annual get together, and developing our links with the bigger eco system out there.. please consider registering your Jaguar for this years event - you will get a chance to meet the team behind our event, win prizes, awards, attend talks, meet over 60 years of Jaguar production, see an incredible array of models, meet specialists, obtain full dealership support, and even take part in our first ever live version of our weekly trivia quiz *and* you will helping us to help the RNLI & the Rotary Club make a difference out at sea an in the local community..

It's Friday already!! As our event gets steadily closer, the weeks are really starting to fly..

Yet again, it has been a really busy week for our event and we have a lot to cover in this weeks Friday Stats.

As of this week our event has hit a milestone, as we now connect you with clubs, forums, and recommended specialists globally, in addition to incredible track experiences, our fantastic event sponsors that range from one man specialists through to global companies, and of course events that you will really enjoy around the world.

I am starting to make headway through designing and printing your Welcome Pack event information, and we are almost up to 100 registered Jaguars so far, a third of the way to our target for this years event.

In previous years we have run an SMS texting service to advise people of any changes to the itinerary on the day, or upcoming features - this year we have set up a broadcast channel on Telegram Messenger - if you are attending the event you may want to link to this in advance so you pick up on any broadcasts about the day.. you can link to it via t.me/JaguarForumsUKeventmanagement .

I have also setup a channel to help our event marshals co-ordinate everything on the day - details will go out them all just before the day.

If you haven't registered yet, please do.. the clock is ticking down (literally) to our event, and you get a great day out, with Welcome Pack, class award entry, prize draw entry, show prices, talks, advice and a chance to meet over 60 years of Jaguar production inc some rare and unusual models, obtain dealership support, and join great company PLUS your registration helps us with our event infrastructure and helps us to help the RNLI and the Rotary Club to support others.. we are not for profit and the more we can do to help everyone in the Jaguar eco system and beyond the happier we are

Our 2020 Event gallery has been growing and you can see more of the Jaguars that will be attending than ever before However we are still missing a few entries.. if you have an Access Pass with any of the following numbers could you please send in a pic with your access pass number and a few details about your pride and joy and I will get it popped up for you.. just email them to stephen.sheldon@jaguarforumsUK.com..

    The number are: 002, 004, 009, 017, 029, 034, 036, 045, 047, 049, 056, 065, 066, 071, 072, 073, 074, 080 & 084

A countdown clock has moved in on the event website, and aside from highlighting to me how much I still have to do before the event, it does show how long everyone has to register for this years event.. not as long as it seems

Ok here are this weeks stats for you all:

Our forum threads have amassed an incredible 29,451 hits for this years event
We currently have 84 Jaguars and 162 attendees signed up
    We have 21 incredible sponsors
We have 10 trade stands booked so far
We have 5 club/forum stands booked
We have 3 Club allocated areas
We have 7 awards you could be in with a chance at
Our Facebook group has been growing and now has 858 members
Our Instagram account is still growing and has 734 followers
Our Twitter account and LinkedIn accounts are stable

If you have an independent repair shop, parts supplier or specialist that you are happy to recommend please let me know, and the same for any Jaguar clubs that you are maybe a member of or run and I will get them listed for attendees

Meanwhile please have a fantastic Jaguar weekend wherever you are, and don't forget to register for our biggest ever event
