New Top Gear Shock - June 16th

    • Seems I won't be watching on my own
    • The world's gone mad
    • Hell is freezing over

Cooking my tea whilst keeping an eye on the One Show,

Was that a laugh I heard? can't be she'll have her head in a crime novel.

There it was again, looked and yes SWMBO was laughing.

When does the new series start she asked, what new series asked I?

    Top Gear came the response.

At this point I'm losing the will to live, never mind cook my tea.

Some things are no longer sacred.

I'm bleeding shipmate, bleeding I tell ya.

    I've been keel hauled.

The final nail would be she said she was going to learn to drive.

Dear whatever, I hope that day never comes.

We're all going to the dogs brother, we just can't accept the fact.

It'll get watched and I for one think it'll be good fun.

I suspect Freddie and Paddy are just gonna rip into Chris.

Used to love TG in the "Clarkson, Hammond, May" era. Just haven't been able to get into since. Not with Chris Evans, not with Matt Le Blanc and unfortunately, I doubt, with Paddy McGuiness. A big Freddie Flintoff fan, brilliant witty TV presenter (his 'roadtrips' are good fun to watch), but Paddy McGuiness will probably keep me away.

I can’t help but think the car knowledge between them will be limited and it’s more an excuse for 3 blokes to get over paid to jolly all over the world.

I think you're probably right... at least Chris Evans is no longer a part of it.
