    Super Hydrophobic spray

Dirty alloys spoil the look of even the cleanest car don't they? I manage to keep the bodywork clean most of the time but my wheels let me down.

Even after a shortish run they get covered in a thin film of dust. I take the wheels off on a regular basis to give them a good clean and then give them a coat of polish them to help keep the dust at bay.

I came across the above mentioned spray and have just finished treating my wheels. I will give it a try for a week or so and see if it's any good.

    Anyone tried this stuff?

Well it's been over a week since I treated my wheels with the hydrophobic spray.

It's a bit weird stuff top put on, its very liquid and runs easily. It's advised to leave them for at least 1-1/2hrs. to dry. I left them overnight, and was pleased to see what I thought could be runs, had dried out perfectly.

Well I'm happy to report that this stuff works very well. My wheels look really clean even though the weather has been very wet.

I used the Autoglym brand and would recommend it. (I have no connection etc. etc.)

    Well pleased..........................IP

    Bought some.

    £20 from Halfords.

Having read the destructions, seems the 1L bottle is going to last a long time.

For a whole car (not the windscreen) 4 capfuls (40ml) maximum added to a minimum of 200ml of water, that'll be 25 coatings per bottle.

'appen it'll get used this Saturday
