    problem with brake Jaguar XF

Hi, I'm Domenico and I have a problem with my Jaguar XF 3.0.

Since the heat started during braking twice out of 10 (at 3 pm even 5 times out of 10) the car does not brake by going down the pedal at full scale. I just release the brake and re-energize to stop / slow down the vehicle.

The mechanic has suggested a problem with the brake pump (brake master cylinder). I took the original ATE piece directly from Germany and replaced it.

After a week of use, the problem recurred.

Could it be the faulty brake pump or some other brake system component?

Please help me at this point I don't know what it can be.

    Thanks: D

    Hi Domenico,

From your description of the symptoms, I would be looking into the servo unit. I'm sure some one with more knowledge will give you more detailed info soon.

I'm assuming that it is not something simple, such as air in the brake lines?

Yes, not simply like air in the brake lines. but the strange think is that for 7 day no problem. In the last 3 day the problem reappeared. I have also noticed that it is more frequent in the hot hours and when the car is in height differences (climbs / downhill)
